More Easter Bunnies!

26 Mar

We are definitely on a roll this week! The Purl Shop now has more Easter bunnies to sell!

This cute little female bunny makes a cute gift for this coming Easter!

She has beautiful long ears and loves wearing her little flower headpiece. =) Easter eggs, anyone? Lol.

Here’s a photo of her with Mr Carrot! Say cheese!

Here’s her hopping happily in the backyard one day because she’s happy seeing a beautiful rainbow in the sky!

She’s about 3.5 inches tall. Very lovable and very cuddly!

Price: AUD$20 (excluding postage)

Did we mention that we will also be having a male bunny in store soon?

Here’s a sneak peek of what’s coming in store this coming week!

He’s still not done yet – we have yet to sew some feet and ear linings for him ;)

Don’t forget to come back for more!

Knitted Pillow Case

24 Aug

Knitted a pillow case about two months ago to add a tinge of freshness to my living room.

Pillow case removable with real button holes.

Also knitted with a thick yarn so it provides warmth when cuddled on cold winter days…

Do send us an email if you’re interested in getting one. We’ll make a brand new one for you to fit the size of your pillow =)

Wall decal

8 Oct

Wall decal is a very good way to turn a boring white wall into a beautiful wall almost instantly.

Last week, I was given the opportunity to slightly makeover a nursery. Here’s some picture taken before and after attaching the wall decal.

Ideas for Father’s Day

27 Aug

Here’s a simple idea of what you can do for your father this coming Father’s Day.

l.o.v.e.

1. Cut the letters L O V E on the back of an envelope.

2. Paste it on a piece of A4 paper.

There you have it. A simple way to tell your father that you love him this Father’s Day!

Tiramisu

Here is a tiramisu recipe that I highly recommend. You can give it a try over the weekend.

A simple recipe but it taste just as good! A little messy but still good.

Makeover

9 Jul

Spent the week trying to makeover the family activity room and here’s how it looks like so far.

Nothing major. No changes to the structure. Just simply painted the wall with Dulux River Rock that gives a textured finish to the wall, hung the TV on the wall and moved a few pieces of furniture around.

Any suggestions on how to further beautify this space?

Headband

14 Jun

Here’s an easy weekend project that perhaps you can try.

All you need is just 2 long leather straps (Other alternatives would be 3 or 4 straps or you can even use your old bras’ strap), 2 smaller pieces of leather scraps, a rubber band, glue and scissors.

1. Cut up 2 small pieces of leather scraps as wide as 2 leather straps and apply glue as shown in the picture below.

2. Place the 2 leather straps on the glue, insert the rubber band and glue the leather scrap together leaving an allowance or loop for the rubber band.

3. Do the same to the other side of the leather strap.

There you have it!  A self-made Glecian headband that could cost you up to AUD$20 in local hair accessories stores, for less than $3.

Have a nice weekend!
